On March 11, 2020, an evening dedicated to the memory of the great Kobzar, prominent poet and patriot of Ukraine Taras Shevchenko was held at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in the State of Israel. 

Olha Leonova, director of the Israeli branch of the Institute League of Culture, spoke about the multifaceted personality of the great Kobzar and about the image of T. Shevchenko in Ukrainian cinematography.

Head of Art Studio “Rainbow” Maria Fuksman presented drawings of children who took part in the project "Shevchenko’s work seen through the eyes of children." During the evening, Ukrainian poems and songs were performed by the music-literary studio "Ascension".
