In Crimea, within the 10th annual Yalta conference, the working dinner between President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and President of Israel Shimon Peres took place.
Before the working dinner, Shimon Peres noted that strategic cooperation between Ukraine and Israel would be strengthened.
“I am very glad that we have a strategic level of relations between our countries and we are willing to further develop it. We have a great opportunity to develop our relations and we must make every effort for this end,” the President of Israel stressed.
According to him, relations between Israel and Ukraine are being developed actively. The evidence of that is the growing number of Ukrainians visiting Israel and Israelis visiting Ukraine.
Shimon Peres noted that both countries would manage to achieve mutual understanding in many issues of international agenda. He also added that he had been convinced that Ukraine was actively developing. “Today, Ukraine is confidently moving the way of progress due to its technologies and science-driven tools,” he said.
