On May 18, 2020 Ukraine commemorates the 76th anniversary of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people.
On this day in 1944 the Crimean Tatar people were deported from their homes in Crimea.
Today, the Crimean Tatar flag was raised in solidarity next to the State Flag of Ukraine at the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel.
