The main purpose of the visit was to study Israeli practices of transport safety.

The Ukrainian delegation met with the Minister of Transport and Road Safety F.Katz, Deputy Interior Minister F.Kirshenbaum. The delegation visited major transportation facilities of Israel: Israel Railways, the Ashdod port, airport «Ben-Gurion International», the operational center for aviation safety, headquartered Weather Service, a company that specializes in obtaining information and protection «Verint Company» as well as took part in the conference «Homeland security» (HLS 2014 conference).

The parties  agreed to prepare for the signing of the Memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine and the Ministry of Transport of the State of Israel on cooperation in the field of transport safety.
