He held meetings with the Minister of Economy of Israel Arie Dery, Chief scientist of the Ministry of Economy of Israel Avi Hasson, other Israeli officials. During the meetings current issues of Ukraine-Israeli economic relations, including the preparation of the Free Trade Agreement between Ukraine and Israel, cooperation in specific industries were discussed. During the visit much attention was paid to the development of cooperation in the field of innovation and high technology. Minister A.Abromavičius has visited several Israeli innovation centers to examine the Israeli practice of public and private support for the development of new technologies, commercialization of researches, the creation of "start-ups", encouraging foreign investment and so on.
