On August 1-4, 2016 Israel hosted the Under 21 European Baseball Championship. Ukraine national baseball team won this championship, beating Russian team in the final stage of championship with score 7-5. Ukrainian team was supported and congratulated by the Embassy of Ukraine, in particular the first pitch of the game.
