January 17, 2017 photo exhibition “Children in War” was officially opened in Ukrainian cultural center in Israel.
Photo-exhibition is dedicated to children in the front-line areas of Ukraine, who know about the war from personal experience. Organizers of the exhibition intend to draw public attention to children residing in the line of fire, the children without childhood.
The project presents impressive portraits of children. Child smiles, dreams and suffering are reflected in the photos. Part of the exhibition presents pictures of Donetsk and Lugansk regions most affected with the fighting. Destructed schools and burned flags... Every hero has the own story...
At the beginning of the event Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Mr.Hennadii Nadolenko and organizers of the photo exhibition President of Baltic-Black Sea Security Confederation Mr. Yevhen Rokytskyi and Head of the Ukrainian branch of Baltic-Black Sea Security Confederation Ms. Olena Prokopenko delivered the solemn speeches.
The representatives of Diplomatic missions, accredited in Israel, local media, community of expats from Ukraine and representatives of volunteer organizations in Israel attended the photo exhibition.
Photo exhibition will be opened until January 19, 2017.
On January 18, 2017, 7.00 pm. in the framework of the exhibition documentary films “Brothers in Arms” and “Debaltsevo” will be displayed.
