On September 5, 2017, the official reception on the occasion of the 26th anniversary of the Independence of Ukraine, organized by the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel, was held in Tel Aviv in the Einav cultural center.

Guests of the reception were greeted by Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Hennadii Nadolenko and Minister of Aliyah and integration of Israel Sofa Landver.

The national anthems of Ukraine and the State of Israel were performed by Svetlana and Mykhailo Bendikov.

Guests of the reception were numerous representatives of state institutions of Israel, diplomatic corps, business circles, public organizations, media, as well as representatives of the national basketball team of Ukraine - participants of the European Championship “Eurobasket-2017”.
