On the 12th of September, 2017, the Ukrainian delegation headed by Vice-Prime-Minister-Minister of Regional Development, Construction and Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine Mr.G.Zubko took part in the opening ceremony of the international exhibition-conference "WATEC 2017", which is one of the largest and most powerful in the world in the field of water treatment technologies and water management.

Today, Ukraine is interesting in the experience of using modern technologies in improving the quality of drinking water, the level of purification and ecological safety of sewage and introducing and promoting energy efficiency technologies. In the framework of the “WATEC 2017”, Ukrainian delegation held a professional tour, as well as Vice-Prime-Minister G.Zubko met with the Director General and Chairman of the Board of the Government Authority for water and sewage of the State of Israel G.Shaham and with the Minister of Economy and Industry of the State Israel E.Cohen. Also, Ukrainian delegation visited the hight technology wastewater treatment plant “Shafdan”.

On the results of the visit, it was agreed the involving of the Israeli side in the development of the new water management strategy of Ukraine, as well as the reformation of the water supply and sewage communal services and its modernization.
