The festivity evening marking the 5th anniversary of the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Israel was held on November 16th 2017. 

The Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Israel Hennadii Nadolenko congratulated the guests and thanked them for their interest in Ukrainian culture and the spread of positive image of Ukraine in the State of Israel.

"I am sincerely grateful to everyone who supports the Ukrainian culture and shares the values of the Ukrainian people. Thank you for the love to the Ukrainian land."- said the Ambassador.

H.Nadolenko handed gratitudes from the Ukrainian Embassy to friends of the Cultural Center and public organizations for their numerous initiatives, projects, volunteering activities, and for their work aimed at promoting Ukrainian culture and facilitating building of friendly relations between Ukraine and Israel.

The guests enjoyed performances of folk ensemble “Slavutich”, of students and teachers from the conservatory of Kiryat Gat, as well as wonderful poetry by V.Tchaikovska, L.Pertsyukand and L.Borisenko. Special thanks went to the artistic director Alla German for organizing the concert.

The Ukrainian Cultural Center was founded in October 2012. During these 5 years, the Center became the pivot of the Ukrainian cultural life.
