On February 5th 2018 the political consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel were held in Kyiv.
The Ukrainian side was headed by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Sergiy Kyslytsya and the Israeli side by the Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the State of Israel Alon Ushpiz.
The Ukrainian delegation included the Director of the Directorate General for the Middle East and Africa M.Shcherbatyuk, the Political Director O.Makeev, the Ambassador at Large of the Department of International Organizations O.Gerasymenko, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the State of Israel Hennadii Nadolenko.
The two sides discussed a wide range of issues such as bilateral cooperation in the political sphere, the schedule of bilateral contacts at the highest level, the situations in eastern Ukraine and in the Middle East. Prospects of joint cooperation within the framework of international organizations, especially within the framework of the UN were also discussed.
