Embassy of Ukraine in Israel is extremely concerned about the shameful act of anti-Semitism that occurred during the march in honor of Stepan Bandera.

We are convinced that there cannot be any kinds of manifestations of xenophobia and anti-Semitism and other forms of intolerance in a democratic country.

We believe that at the time when the President and the Government of Ukraine are stepping up efforts to eradicate any kinds of xenophobia, anti-Semitism and other forms of intolerance, the infamous incident of shouting anti-Semitic slogans during the S.Bandera march, was a provocation by the forces that are trying to bring discord in building a democratic and tolerant society in Ukraine.

Embassy sent requests to all concerned ministries and authorities of Ukraine to investigate this shameful incident in order to determine perpetrators and bring them to justice.
