On January 15, 2019, Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Hennadii Nadolenko has visited Bar-Ilan University in Ramat Gan.
Bar-Ilan University (BIU) is a state-owned higher education institution in Israel. Established in 1955, it was named after Meir Bar-Ilan, the leader of the religious Zionist movement. The University was founded with the aim of creating a comfortable framework for combining religious Jewish studies and regular higher education.
Bar-Ilan University is among the top 10 universities in Israel, attracting the best students, lecturers and researchers from all over the country and from abroad. Bar-Ilan University - one of the most famous and prestigious universities on the planet, part of the top 5% of universities in the world. This institution is considered one of the best in Israel in the field of “Informatics”, being 151 in the world ranking on this criterion.
During the visit, were held the talks with the President of the Bar-Ilan University, Professor Ari Zaban, and other heads of the research institutions and educational units of the institute. It was agreed to cooperate with Ukrainian research and educational institutions in the field of innovative technologies, support of "start-ups", joint research. The issues of cooperation in the field of education were discussed, and it was determined that the most interesting for students and researchers from Ukraine may be master's programs, post-graduate courses and other specialized courses.
