On October 7, 2019, a memorial evening was held in the city of Rishon LeZion in commemoration of the 78th anniversary of the tragedy in Babyn Yar.

The event was organized under the direction of David Levin by the Association of Ukrainian Immigrants in the State of Israel.

The Chairman of the Association and a Diplomat of the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel addressed the audience.

“Shahar” theatre performed a literary and musical compositions dedicated to one of the most terrible tragedies in the history of humanity - the Holocaust.

A moment of silence paid tribute to the memory of those massacred at Babyn Yar.
