On October 16th 2019, a lecture on outstanding personalities in the history of Ukraine was given at the Ukrainian Cultural Center in Israel.

The event was dedicated to the Defenders Day of Ukraine and the Day of Ukrainian Cossacks.

At the beginning of the evening, a diplomat at the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel addressed the audience with a welcoming address.

Olga Leonova told the audience about Ukrainian poets, writers, artists, composers, reformers and political figures who have defined the course of Ukrainian history since Kievan Rus.

A thematic documentary was also screened.
