On August 23, 2012 the Ambassador of Ukraine H.Nadolenko visited the Ukrainian seamen – the crew members of the cruise vessel «VENUS» that was under arrest in the Ashdod port.

The Ambassador was informed about the health and conditions of stay of the Ukrainian citizens on the board, the timetable of free movement of the Ukrainian citizens on the port’s territory and outside the port as well as about their possibility to have free access to the Internet at the port’s area.

In addition, Mr. Hennadii Nadolenko met the captain of the vessel «VENUS» Mr. Ioannis Fundakas and informed him about the major requests of the Ukrainian crew.
