On December 25, 2019 the IX International Festival of Ukrainian Culture was held in Haifa.

Mykola Taranenko, Charge d'Affaires of Ukraine in the State of Israel, in his welcoming speech thanked the organizers and participants of the Festival.

"Holding the Festival for the ninth consecutive year demonstrates the high interest in Ukrainian culture in Israel and promotes the image of Ukraine and preservation of cultural values," stressed the diplomat.

The concert program featured artists from Ukraine and Israel, as well as winners of the III International Ukrainian Song Contest.

Tamara Vakulenko, a Ukrainian artist of Petrykivka painting, presented her works and told secrets of her skills to the guests.

The event was organized by the Folk Theater “Tupuah Bedwash” under the direction of Olena Geyko with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel, the Ministry of Aliyah and Integration of the State of Israel and the Haifa Municipality.
