On February 17, Mr. Hennadii Nadolenko, Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel, addressed the participants of the Israel Middle East Model United Nations Conference. The Conference was held at the Walworth Barbour American International School and brought together students from more than 45 senior schools in Israel to simulate the work of UN debating regional and international issues.
During his speech on the eve of the 6th anniversary of the beginning of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine and the occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol, Ambassador Hennadii Nadolenko stressed that Ukraine will never recognize annexation of an integral part of its territory – the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, seized by Russia by brutally violating fundamental norms of international law and generally recognized principles of co-existence of states. The policy of non-recognition of the attempted annexation of Crimea, including its key part - personal and sectoral sanctions against Russia - will be kept until the deoccupation of the peninsular and bringing Russia back to the international law field.
“Crimea was, is and will always be a part of Ukraine”, - underlined the Ambassador, addressing the participants of the Conference.
