To honor the memory of millions of Jews brutally killed by Nazi regime during World War II, Ambassador of Ukraine to Israel Mr. Yevgen Korniychuk at the invitation of Chief of State Protocol of Israel Mr. Gil Haskel joined the initiative of non-profit organization “Shem Vener”, lighting personalized memorial candles for victims perished in the Holocaust.

The International Holocaust Remembrance Day, annually marked on January 27, reminds us of the terrible lessons of our history which we must learn and convey to future generations in order to never again repeat the horrors of war and the tragedy of the extermination of peoples.
