Following the meetings of Ukrainian parliamentarians with their Israeli colleagues, it was agreed to further expand parliamentary dialogue and cooperation, the Ukrainian side extended an invitation to Knesset members to visit Ukraine, called on Israel to join the sanctions policy of the US and the EU towards Russia, and to expand cooperation in the security and defense sphere.
Ukrainian parliamentarians got acquainted with the Israeli experience of civil defense structures, rescue services and the medical system in the context of an ongoing military conflict. Including in the context of developing a system of shelters for the population and infrastructure facilities.
Separately, the issues of Israel's continuation of the implementation of humanitarian aid projects to our country and the scaling up of relevant educational programs and trainings for Ukrainian psychologists, doctors and social workers were discussed. It was emphasized that the issue of providing medical care and rehabilitation to Ukrainian defenders who suffered as a result of the Russian military actions remains extremely relevant for Ukraine.
