On May 11, 2021, Ambassador of Ukraine Yevgen Korniychuk took part in an online meeting between Deputy Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko and Head of the International Relations Department of the Ministry of Health of Israel Asher Salmon, held with the assistance of the Embassy of Ukraine at the initiative of Israel. 

 The parties discussed ways of cooperation in vaccination against KOVID-19 vulnerable segments of the population, compared the positions in preparation for the celebration of the Jewish New Year of Rosh Hashanah in September this year. 

 Much attention is paid to professional epidemiological issues to facilitate the crossing of borders between states, in particular the mutual recognition of official vaccination certificates from COVID-19 - vaccination passports.

 In this context, it was agreed to conduct additional joint interagency activities aimed at standardizing documents and providing appropriate technical support for their recognition.
