According to the order of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych of February 19, number 82/2014, 20 February 2014 announced as a day of mourning in Ukraine for victims of the riots in the country.

Throughout the country, as well as in diplomatic missions of Ukraine abroad, Ukrainian national flags are lowered to half-mast.
