The memorial service for those killed during mass clashes in Ukraine

On February 23, 2014 a memorial service for those killed during mass clashes in Ukraine was held on the initiative of the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel. The liturgy was conducted by Gregory Wawrzyniak, the priest of UGCC, at the Church of Annunciation in Jaffa.
The service was attended by Embassy staff and representatives of the Ukrainian community in Israel.
During the liturgy believers of different faiths, presented in the temple, prayed for peace and accord in Ukraine. In his homily, the priest called for faith, forgiveness and reconciliation.
