To the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and Israel Theater “Shahar” which operates under the auspices of Association of Ukrainian Immigrants in Israel presented a musical and dramatic performance “Melody of Souls. Happiness to live under the peaceful sky”.

During the performance the audience listened to traditional and authored Ukrainian songs, poems by Ukrainian poets, among which were poems by the famous Ukrainian-Israeli poet Valentyna Tchaikovska.

The performance received an extremely warm welcome from the local public, as the theme of life under the peaceful sky is relevant to both Ukraine and Israel.

The performers of “Shahar” Theater and the audience received greetings from the counsellor of the Embassy of Ukraine in Israel Mykola Taranenko and the Head of Association of Ukrainian Immigrants in Israel David Levin, who noted the special contribution of people's diplomacy to the development of relations between our states.
