On September 26-27, 2017, the seventh round of talks on the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement with the State of Israel was held in Tel Aviv. During the difficult, but constructive negotiations, the Ukrainian delegation, which included representatives of the Ministry of Economic Development, Ministry of Agrarian Policy, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, agreed with their Israeli counterparts the overwhelming majority of the provisions of the draft Agreement, in particular, on trade in goods, technical barriers to trade, environmental protection, etc.
Considerable attention was paid to the issues of liberalizing access to commodity markets, in particular agricultural ones.
Following the results of the seventh round of negotiations, the parties signed a joint report, which recorded the main current agreements. Respective arrangements were made with the aim to prepare the final text of the Agreement.
