On October 10, 2017, Yulia Nadolenko, wife of the Ambassador of Ukraine invited at the residence of the head of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission, a well-known Ukrainian embroidery master Tatyana Protcheva, who presented her new direction in the art of embroidery "Glow Art" for the diplomatic women's club. «Glow Art» - embroidery that shines in the dark.
The works of the embroidery master also combine the traditional ornamentation techniques and modern technologies - embroidery with QR-code, which when scanned one may listen to Ukrainian national anthem or view Ukrainian dance "Gopak".
Within the framework of the presentation, guests had the opportunity to learn how to embroider through the cross-stitch technique and took part in embroidering a map of Ukraine.
Participants of the diplomatic club also took a master class and produced a Ukrainian folk doll (Motanki).
The guests were presented with a beautiful musical gift from talented duet Svitlana and Myhailo Bendikov. Svitlana Bendikova, also known as the Jerusalem Nightingale, Ukrainian-Israeli opera singer, and her husband, the talented composer Myhailo Bendikov, sang a number of songs they composed in Ukrainian for guests of the event.
