On 25^th January 2019 at the Jerusalem Patriarchate took place a meeting of the Ambassador of Ukraine in the State of Israel Hennadii Nadolenko with the His Beatitude Theophilos III, Patriarch of the Holy City of Jerusalem and All Palestine.

During the meeting there was held the phone conversation of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko with the Patriarch of Jerusalem Theophilos III.

During the conversation Theophilos III regretted the cancellation over the health condition of his meeting with P.Poroshenko initially scheduled in the framework of the visit of the Ukrainian President to Israel 20-21 January 2019.  There were also discussed the issues of institutionalization of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.

The Head of Ukrainian State invited Theophilos III to conduct a pastoral visit to Ukraine.

The Ambassador transmitted to His Beatitude the letter of the Primate of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine His Beatitude Metropolitan Epifaniy.
