On April 13, 2021, the State of Israel joined the international environmental project "Greening of the Planet", organized by the charity fund "Greening of Ukraine".

Together with the "Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael - Jewish National Fund", diplomats from the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Israel and members of the local community planted trees in the «Forest of Ukraine», located in the State of Israel.

The first saplings that laid the groundwork for the "Forest of Ukraine" were planted in 2014. The "Jewish National Fund" has allocated 120 hectares of land in the southern of the country for planting a forest dedicated to Ukraine.
