On February 24, 2021, H.E. Mr. Yevgen Korniychuk, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Israel, presented to H.E. Mr. Reuven Rivlin, President of the State of Israel, his Letter of Credence.
During the meeting, which took place after the ceremony, the Ambassador of Ukraine and the President of Israel discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation and further ways to strengthen them.
The Sides stressed the need to step up the fight against anti-Semitism, racism and other forms of intolerance in the world.
Ambassador Yevgen Korniychuk expressed gratitude to the Israeli Side for assistance in negotiations with manufacturers of the vaccine against COVID-19 for its supply to Ukraine.
The Ambassador stressed the need to expand trade relations within the Free Trade Area and to develop bilateral military-technical cooperation.
Also, the Ambassador reaffirmed the invitation to President Reuven Rivlin from President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy to visit Ukraine to participate in the ceremonial events on the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Ukraine's independence.
