On April 20, 2021, Ambassador Yevgen Korniychuk held an online meeting with the Head of the Chernivtsi Regional State Administration Serhiy Osachuk. During the meeting prospects for cooperation in various areas between Bukovyna and Israel were discussed.

The Head of Chernivtsi Regional State Administration presented the economic and investment potential of the region in the tourism sector and the woodworking industry in particular.

Against the background of a great common cultural heritage, established relations between twin cities, the presence of a large community from Bukovyna in the State of Israel, much attention was paid to the organization of cultural, artistic and sporting events.

Ambassador Korniychuk expressed his readiness to assist in organizing a business roadshow in Israel and invited the regional authorities, community members and business leaders of Bukovyna to join the bilateral economic and cultural events, which the Embassy along with its Israeli hosts will hold during 2021 and 2022.
