A noticeable event in the context of Ukraine's participation in countering the global food crisis and strengthening our country's role in food security at the international level was the delivery of the first consignment of 8.3 million chicken eggs from Ukraine to Israel in April of this year. This helped eliminate the deficit of this product on the domestic market just before the Jewish holiday of Passover. All this becomes possible after the competent authorities of the State of Israel lifted a ban on the importation of table eggs from Ukraine, which the Embassy of Ukraine has been persistently seeking since 2016.
Ukraine is ready and interested to become a supplier to Israel of the goods and services it has traditionally received from other regions of the world. This concerns, first and foremost, agricultural products to ensure Israel's food security. Updated information on the availability of Ukrainian grain, meat, oil, feed, confectionery, etc. was recently sent by the Embassy to the government and business entities in Israel.
