On June 12, 2020, the Government of Ukraine released new set of rules:
1. The temporary ban on crossing the state border of Ukraine by foreigners and stateless persons to enter Ukraine has been lifted.
As a result, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's procedure authorizing foreign and foreign nationals to enter Ukraine was canceled.
2. For the period of quarantine, a requirement was made for foreigners and non-citizens intending to enter Ukraine, to hold an insurance policy covering COVID-19 care and isolation.
This requirement does not apply to permanent residents of Ukraine.
3. The obligation of isolation shall apply to persons arriving in Ukraine from countries with high prevalence of COVID-19 and citizens of those countries.
The government isolation obligation will not apply to people who have agreed to self-isolation through the electronic service - Details of this service can be found in the download app named «Дій вдома», to download click on the below link:

The above app must be downloaded before crossing the border to Ukraine.
The following categories are exempt from mandatory isolation (only if they have not been in contact with a COVID-19 patient):
- Citizens of countries with significant spread of COVID-19 that have not been with in the territory of these countries for the last 14 days.
- employees of diplomatic and consular posts of foreign countries, institutions of international delegations and official organizations, which are certified in Ukraine and their families.
